Hardcover or softcover photo book?
Softcover photo books use a flexible 250gsm silk cover with gloss lamination. They are lighter and slimmer, making them practical for everyday albums and gifts.
Hardcover photo books use 200gsm silk paper wrapped around rigid 2.25mm board and finished with gloss lamination.
Our hardcovers use traditional folded endpapers to connect the book block to the case, with gauze reinforcement supporting the spine for a strong, professionally bound finish.
Choose your pages and paper
Start with 20 pages and add two-page spreads in the editor, up to 200 pages. A book started with 20 pages cannot be reduced below 20.

170gsm gloss paper has a shiny finish that suits bright, detailed photographic prints.
170gsm recycled silk paper has a subtler sheen and is made from 100% recycled paper.
Prepare and upload your photos
Upload JPG or PNG files. Use your original photo files wherever possible, as screenshots and images downloaded from social media may contain less detail when enlarged.
Give favourite photos room. Use larger layouts for standout images and group related pictures to tell a story.
Check every page before ordering. Look for cropped faces, details close to the edges, spelling mistakes and photographs in the wrong order.

Choose A5 or A4 in portrait or landscape, or a 20 x 20 cm Square photo book. All three sizes are available with softcover or hardcover options.

What page count should I choose?
Start with 20 pages. Add or remove extra two-page spreads in the photo editor, up to 200 pages in total, with a minimum of 20 pages. Existing designs and reorders can retain their original starting page count. Extra spreads are charged separately; check the final page count and price before ordering.
How much do extra photo book pages cost?
Each additional spread adds two facing pages. Extra spreads cost £0.28 for A5 photo books and £0.35 for A4 and Square photo books.
What paper is used in Picsme photo books?
Choose 170gsm gloss paper for a shiny finish and bright photographic reproduction, or 170gsm 100% recycled silk paper for a smoother finish with a subtler sheen. The recycled paper option costs extra.
What photo file formats can I upload?
You can upload JPG or PNG files. For the best results, use your original, high-resolution photo files wherever possible. Screenshots and images downloaded from social media may contain less detail when enlarged.

Yes. Picsme photo books are professionally printed, bound and quality checked in-house at our UK production facility.
How long do photo books take to produce and deliver?
Standard delivery costs £3.50 and usually takes 3 to 5 working days. Express delivery costs £4.00 and usually takes 2 to 4 working days. Both timeframes include production. Mainland UK delivery is free on orders of £30 or more.
