We print and bind your photo book in our own UK facility. Keeping production in-house helps us keep prices affordable and oversee the finished book, from printing to binding.
How our photo books are printed and boundGloss or recycled silk photo pages
Choose 170gsm gloss for a shiny finish or 170gsm 100% recycled silk inner paper for a subtler sheen. Both ranges offer softcover and hardcover books. GSM describes paper weight.
Flexible, gloss-laminated softcover
A 250gsm silk cover with protective gloss lamination. Light and flexible, with your own photographs and design on the cover.
A rigid cover for a keepsake
A printed 200gsm silk wrap over 2.25mm board, finished with gloss lamination. Traditional endpapers join the pages to the cover. These are conventionally bound books, not layflat books.

How our photo books are printed and boundWhich photo book size should I choose?
A5 pages are 148 × 210mm: compact for small gifts, baby milestones and everyday memories. A4 pages are 210 × 297mm, with more room for family albums and larger photographs. Both come in portrait or landscape. Square pages are 200 × 200mm, a useful choice for mixing portrait and landscape pictures.
Can I choose recycled paper, and will my book lie flat?
Choose standard 170gsm gloss paper for a shiny finish, or 170gsm 100% recycled silk inner paper for a softer sheen. Compare recycled photo book prices. The recycled claim applies to the inner pages, not every component of the book.
Our books use conventional binding, not layflat binding. Keep faces and text away from the centre join and outer edges.
Can I add pages, and what will they cost?
Yes. Start with 20 pages and add two-page spreads while you design, up to 200 pages. For 36 pages, add eight spreads. You can remove the spreads you add, but a book started with 20 pages cannot be reduced below 20.
Extra spreads cost £0.28 for A5, £0.35 for A4 and £0.35 for square books. Extra spreads are excluded from Picsme Forever. Check your final total before ordering.
How much is delivery, and how long does it take?
Mainland UK Standard delivery is £3.50 in an estimated 3 to 5 working days. Express is £4.00 in an estimated 2 to 4 working days. Both include production and tracked delivery. Standard mainland UK delivery is free on orders of £30 or more.

Can I use photos from my phone?
Yes. Upload your original JPG or PNG photographs in the online editor. Original files give you more detail than screenshots or images copied from social media.
Check any image-quality warnings, preview every page and make sure important details are not cropped. Our photo book editor walkthrough shows how to get started.
Can I get help before I place my order?
Yes. If you need help choosing a book or using the editor, contact the Picsme team or email hi@picsme.co.uk.
If your delivered book has a production problem, contact us with the order details so we can assess it and arrange an appropriate replacement or refund. See our refund policy.
How do I choose a cheap photo book and keep the total down?
A5 softcover has the lowest 20-page starting price in the standard range. Start with 20 pages, add only the extra spreads you need and include delivery when comparing totals.
Picsme Forever offers a total 50% discount on eligible future products after you create an account and spend £50 once. Existing offers count towards that saving. Shipping and extra photo book spreads are excluded.
