Choose A5 or A4 landscape
A5 is a compact choice for trip highlights and gifts. A4 provides more space for scenery, wedding groups and detailed photography. This collection contains landscape A5 and A4 books; Square is a separate format.
Work with the crop
Give wide photographs room, and check that important details remain inside the layout. Vertical photographs can sit within a landscape page or be grouped with related images. Avoid stretching a small image just to fill the available space.
Compare the available cover and paper combinations
Softcover uses flexible 250gsm silk with gloss lamination. Hardcover uses 200gsm silk wrapped around rigid 2.25mm board, gloss lamination, traditional folded endpapers and gauze spine reinforcement. Gloss pages have a shiny finish. Recycled silk options use 170gsm 100% recycled inside paper with a subtler sheen. The chooser shows the combinations currently included in this collection.
Plan the sequence of your pages
Start with 20 pages. Add pages in two-page spreads while designing, up to 200 pages. A book started with 20 pages cannot be reduced below 20. Put establishing scenes beside closer details so each part of a trip or event is easy to follow. Additional two-page spreads cost £0.28 for A5 and £0.35 for A4 or Square. Extra spreads are excluded from Picsme Forever.
