Choose a compact or larger album
Choose A5 for a smaller album you can share or give as a gift. A4 offers more space for larger photographs and captions. The 20 × 20 cm Square format gives a balanced page shape when your images have mixed orientations.
Recycled paper inside the book
The inside pages use 170gsm silk made from 100% recycled paper. This specification applies to the inside paper, not to the entire book or its laminated cover. The silk finish has a subtler sheen than gloss, making it useful if you prefer less shiny inside pages.
A flexible cover with gloss lamination
These books use a flexible 250gsm silk cover finished with gloss lamination. The cover finish is different from the recycled silk pages inside. If you want a rigid cover instead, compare our recycled hardcover photo books.
Build an ongoing series
Start with 20 pages. Add pages in two-page spreads while designing, up to 200 pages. A book started with 20 pages cannot be reduced below 20. Give each family year, trip or milestone its own title and keep captions consistent. Upload JPG or PNG files. Use original photographs where possible, as screenshots and social media copies may contain less detail. Check cropping, faces near the edges, captions and page order before ordering.

Is the cover also made from recycled silk paper?
The inside pages are 170gsm 100% recycled silk. The softcover uses 250gsm silk with gloss lamination; we do not describe the whole book as 100% recycled.

Choose A5 or A4 in portrait or landscape, or a 20 × 20 cm Square book. All products in this collection have recycled silk inside pages.
How does the recycled paper look compared with gloss?
Recycled silk has a smooth finish with a subtler sheen. Standard photo books use gloss paper with a shinier surface. Both inside papers are 170gsm.
Can I add more pages to a recycled softcover?
Start with 20 pages. Add pages in two-page spreads while designing, up to 200 pages. A book started with 20 pages cannot be reduced below 20.
What do extra recycled softcover pages cost?
Additional two-page spreads cost £0.28 for A5 and £0.35 for A4 or Square. Extra spreads are excluded from Picsme Forever.
