You can turn a Canva design into a Picsme photo poster or framed print. Start with the product dimensions, download your finished design as a high-quality PNG or JPG, then upload it to the Picsme editor and check the preview.

1. Choose your print before you design
Open Photo Posters for an unframed print, or Framed Prints for a photograph with a solid wood frame. Choose the size and orientation that suit your space.
Use the exact dimensions shown on the product page. Picsme uses these size labels for its current posters:
- A5 (15 x 20 cm)
- A4 (21 x 29.7 cm)
- A3 (30 x 40 cm)
- A2 (42 x 59.4 cm)
- A1 (60 x 90 cm)
- A0 (84.1 x 118.9 cm)
Several dimensions differ from a standard A-series Canva preset. For example, the Picsme A5 poster is 15 × 20 cm and the A3 poster is 30 × 40 cm. Set a custom Canva canvas to the product's stated width and height. Swap them for a landscape design.
2. Build your Canva artwork at the right proportions
Place your photograph or artwork, then add any text and graphics. Use original photo files wherever possible. A screenshot or a small image downloaded from social media may look soft when enlarged.
Keep faces, lettering and other important details comfortably inside the edges. If the image should fill the print, extend the background to the canvas edges. A design with a different shape from the chosen print will need cropping or space around it.
3. Download a PNG or JPG
In Canva, choose Share, then Download. PNG is a useful choice for designs with text and graphics; a high-quality JPG also works for photographs. Select the page you want to print and use the highest useful image quality available in your Canva account.
Export the artwork itself with its intended background. Avoid adding crop marks or registration marks to the image because they can become part of the printed design. Increasing the export size will not restore detail that is missing from a low-resolution original.

4. Upload your design to Picsme
- Return to your chosen Picsme product and select the size, orientation and finish.
- Select Customise to open the editor.
- Choose a suitable theme. Blank Theme (Design your own!) is available if you want to place your finished artwork yourself.
- Open the Photo panel and upload your PNG or JPG.
- Place the artwork on the design area and adjust its size and position.
Check that your uploaded image matches the shape of the print. Keep its proportions when resizing, so faces and lettering do not stretch.
5. Check the preview before ordering
Select Preview and inspect the whole print, including the edges. Check spelling, image sharpness, the crop, background coverage and the position of text. If you see an image-quality warning, use a larger original or choose a smaller print.
The PNG or JPG is one flattened image. To change text that was part of the Canva design, edit it in Canva, download the corrected version and replace the uploaded image in Picsme.
Choose the finish for your design
Photo posters are printed on 200gsm silk or uncoated paper. Silk has a smooth surface; uncoated offers a natural, non-gloss finish. Framed prints combine a print with a solid wood frame in black, white or natural wood, with the available sizes and profiles shown on the product page.
Your screen and a physical print can show colours differently, particularly if the screen is very bright. Check the original image in normal lighting and avoid relying on screen brightness alone to judge shadow detail.
